When looking to progress through the functional skills maths qualifications, some students may need to study entry level 3 maths. We at Functional Skills Maths Level 2 are aiming to help everyone no matter how old they are or what level their ability is at. We also support teachers who are looking to use these resources to help them teach.

These materials that we recommend for entry level 3 maths revision are very good for both teachers and students. This is because it goes through the curriculum with every topic that needs to be covered. The topics on the page are presented in a table that is easy to navigate and can range from Angles and Decimal Basics to Tally Charts. Each page has revision notes for the different topics with practice questions and model solutions to back them up. With all these great resources at your disposal, there are also the worksheet questions. These provide a chance to practice with exam standard questions that are in exam format. Not forgetting the mark scheme answers to determine how strong your knowledge is in the different topics and where you may need to strengthen.

The entry level past papers are the tool that you will want to move on to once you have used the entry level 3 maths resources fully. These are great example papers as they serve as an accurate representation of what questions and problems the main exam may throw at you. Students will also be given the mark scheme answers for this too so that they can really feel prepared. Once learners feel ready, they should book their entry level 3 exam so that they can proceed on to the functional skills. Going through each level of functional skills is encouraged by schools but this depends on how a student is feeling and if they want to jump straight to level 2 or not. We are here to help them through this so that they can progress and get their qualifications.
