The Practice Papers are proven to be an excellent resource for revising, they are designed by experts ensuring that they will be as close to the real exam as possible. To ensure that you get the most out of the papers, they are formatted in the same way as the actual exam, with questions that cover the same topics that will appear in the exam. Each individual paper out of the 20 provided has been carefully designed for each exam board, ensuring that the topics covered, as well as the mark allocation is as close to the real things possible.

The Functional Skills Maths Practice Papers will be delivered to your door by Royal Mail, so there will be no need to leave your home to collect them or use a printer. They will take an average of 2-3 days to arrive once the order has been confirmed.

Exam Board Mark Schemes

Alongside each pack of Practice Papers, we also include marking schemes for all 20 papers. No one will be marking the Practice Papers for you! While at first, this would seem like a chore, it provides an excellent opportunity to see exactly where you went wrong. Which allows you to what topics you are struggling with, helping you focus your revision on those topics to make the most out of the time you have before your exam.

Regarding the actual marking of the exam, the multiple markers will be individually split in the marking scheme, showing you exactly where the marks are been awarded. They have also been carefully designed in such as way that they are as easy to follow as possible, as they were created with students doing the marking in mind.

We heavily recommend finishing the whole page, going back over it with the marking scheme instead of marking it after every question. Then note down exactly which subjects you have gotten wrong, see where you went wrong, and then base your revision on that. As you repeat this approach for each paper, you will start to see a clear improvement as you narrow down and revise the topics you were struggling in.
