What is the Functional Skills Level 2 Maths exam?
Functional Skills Maths Level 2 is an exam that provides learners with an equivalent GCSE of a Grade C or 4 in Maths. This qualification can be used in place of a GCSE qualification for those unable to obtain them, allowing you to progress with a career, course, or profession. It also opens up careers such as the police, nursing, social care, as well as many apprenticeships.
The Functional Skills Maths Level 2 exam is split into 2 papers, the Non-calculator paper, and the Calculator paper, both of these papers are there to challenge your mathematical skills and how you problem-solve.
