While our main focus is Functional Skills Level 2, we want you to be informed regarding the other levels. This includes entry-level 3, which is the level just below Functional Skills Level 1. While attempting to get your Functional Skills Maths qualification, you may be asked to revise entry-level 3 maths. Especially if you have not studied mathematics for a number of years. Because it is of a lower level, it will help build a solid foundation in your knowledge. Which you can then build upon.

An excellent resource for this would be the entry-level 3 maths revision material. Which covered everything in the curriculum in depth using a number of different revision resources. Making your revision experience varied and thorough. Each topic will be in a table, with its own resources attached. These resources are:

  • The general revision section, consisting of notes, explanations, and video tutorials
  • Worksheets, there to put the knowledge you have learners into practice
  • Practice questions, to test your knowledge against some real examples.

Once you have gone through all of these. You can use the scores you received from the practice questions to narrow down the topics that you struggle with. Focusing on the areas that need the most work. Helping to fully optimize the time that you have.

Once the resources for entry-level 3 maths have been exhausted and you are feeling confident with your knowledge/skills. You will be ready to book and sit your exam!
